The Criss Cross Chair

I absolutely love it but there are a few drawbacks

I recently bought the Criss Cross Chair from Artment, and while there are things I absolutely love about it, there are a few drawbacks too.

First off, the criss-cross feature is amazing. I love that the seat is spacious enough for me to comfortably cross my legs—definitely a plus for long sitting hours. It looks super stylish and fits perfectly with my home aesthetic.

However, assembling the chair was a bit of a nightmare. The holes didn’t line up easily, and I had to call in my father for help. Definitely not a one-person job and requires some skill.

The material is nice, but maybe not the best for Indian weather—my thighs tend to get sweaty when I sit on it for long. It also seems prone to damage. A slight brush against my table’s edge caused a bit of the leather to peel off, which was disappointing.

All in all, while I do like the chair for its design and comfort, it does feel a bit overpriced for the quality. But hey, it matches my vibe, so I’ll give it that!
